Hari Ni Pi Library. Sabtu 25hb Feb

Need to do a book review, for the assignment. So without any delay, early morning, Saturday, I headed to Shah Alam library. Shocked!, they have moved to a new location. (Yea, like everyone goes to that place every weekend!)

Some boys doing their thing, the one in the middle have no clue why he was there. But at least he's there. Rather than busting his fingers on a game pad.

Yes! wifi. PC & iMac.

I must say, I am impressed with the library. The escalator will stop, if no one using it and it will move once you put your two feet on the rail. But it also stop abruptly, almost making me lost my balance. They have wifi services which you have to pay to use, using their pc or iMac. But you can always bring your laptop, iPad, Tab etc..

They also have a small gym, with nominal fees if you want to use the equipment. A cafeteria, a 3D theater, and the view is superb. But the parking spaces are lacking and most important of all, the books. They should have stocked more new materials so more people like me, who don't buy books can borrow them. I was looking for Lee Chong Wei book, but they don't have enough copies.

Go Kart Dekat Stadium Shah Alam

Sunday afternoon, dark skies but, most probably it will not rain. So I headed to the spot where action always take place on weekends. Shah Alam Stadium for some Go Karting. But not me, with 40.00 per ride. A little too much in this kind of economy. So with the "kira okay kamera" i was there to capture few shots.

A little accident. Nothing big, he just over hit the throttle  and ram into the tires.

Racing always draw spectators. After all it's free.

So there it is. Next week may be I'll go to the extreme park. Rock Climbing, BMX, In-Line and skateboard actions. But i do get annoyed the picture quality, hope i can get  a new one soon. Try to get the boys joint me next week. They said no today. So much going on in the internet I guess. 

Balik Kampung Cuti Sekolah 2011

Annual trip for the boys. Heading back to Kangar as usual in November. Atuk & Mak Su promised them a trip to Langkawi. So Isya will joint them. As usual, Pak Ngah will foot in 1/2 of the bill. Prior to the trip, speculations of another big flood, due to heavy rain in thailand. But it was all sunny up north, no heavy rain.

Special occasion for him, end-up in my blog. Tq. Surprised ! he did give me a token of sweets and kueh. After i put in 5.00 note into a jar behind his bed.

A trip back home is incomplete without the visit to Bohoq Inai & Titi Serong. Who are we without our elders. 

The house in Bohoq Inai, I used to live there 30 years ago, now its my grandfather's home.

My Grandfather (mother's side), Jamaluddin, A good cook and a former soldier with Malay Regiment in the 50's. The children call him Nenek An. (?) me too.

Titi Serong, Jalan Kuala Perlis. Home of my father's father.

Abah & his father Salim, in his eighties but still can ride that old EX5 to Masjid. They call him Nenek Wan, again ?. I don't know. They just do. By the way in Perlis Great Grandfather is called Nyang.

Its great to be back home, visiting all the places, and seeing people you haven't seen in years. So can't wait for the next trip. 

1st Time Trip To Kelantan. (actually 2nd time)

First time I made the visit was in the 80's. I think I was 13. Wakaf Mek Yeh as I remmember it. Abah brother Pak Ngah Di was residing there. He was a policeman stationed in Kota Bharu for more than 15 years. Can't remmmber anything about the beach or the places we visited. But clearly during the trip back I vomitted and lucky I did not do it in the car. A long trip that is about 10 hours using the Grik-KB road.

The 2nd time. It was Munzir's wedding. Again, with the Nokia Xpress 5800, not enough pictures of i think i should have taken.

Wakaf Che Yeh. Mashitah couldn't made up her mind on which tudung to buy. It was pouring cats and dogs that night.

Overall the trip was memorable one. The reason being there was obvious. Looking back with limited pictures that i have taken in the last few years. I wish i was into this picture taking sooner. Surely more memories can be shared.

As to visit Kelantan again, maybe taking a flight is a better option. Enough driving. Is so far away lah.

Perlis Trip December 2010

Almost forget that some have made it to the northern state attending Munzir's wedding in 2010. For some, the 1st ever visit. Few Pictures captured on that historical trip. Shame that i did not capture more pictures.

Video Tunang

Finally after putting a lot of hours, I finally finished the picture slides of the engagement ceremony between imah & abu. The slides were done in two versions, the malay version where the back ground music is taken from malay joget songs, as the other version is using popular hindi songs as back ground music. (more like a bollywood atmosphere here). Anyway enjoy.

Ribut Melanda Bukit Subang. 07/02/2012

Ribut kencang melanda kawasan Bukit Subang Hari ni 07/08/2012. Lebih kurang pukul 3 petang. Banyak pokok2 yg tumbang dan tercabut. Ada jugak berberapa kereta yg di hempap oleh pokok. Ye lah nak parking bawah pokok, teduh la. Tapi bila dah jadi mcm ni. Sabar je la.

Yang ni pulak, dekat parking kat Apartment Teratai.

Tetapi yg paling malang ialah penghuni Pangsapuri Teratai di mana bumbung telah tercabut di terbangkan oleh angin kencang. Bumbung jatuh ke bawah. Tengok sendiri la gambar2 ni.

Bumbung x ada, di terbangkan oleh angin ribut.

Bumbung Tercabut, Ada penghuni di tingkat lima masa kejadian. Ceritanya masa kejadian. Dia tak jumpa kunci pintu besi grill masa nak keluar rumah, panik/takut. Tapi penghuninya selamat.

Sisa2 bumbung dan kayu jatuh kebawah pangsapuri.

Semua rumah di tingkat 5 ada penghuni. 

Penghuni2 mendaftar.

Pihak polis berkawal. Kawasan telah ditutup. Hanya penghuni shj di bernarkan masuk. 

Balai polis bergerak utk penghuni membuat "Police Report"

Syukur alhamdulillah, tiada kecerdaan. Mmg luar biasa angin yg datang bersama2 petir & kilat. Hujan lebat petang tadi. Actually banyak jugak gambar yg sempat di ambil. Esok2 nanti akan upload lagilah. Dalam FB atau dlm blog ni. (nak sonang, bookmark ja).

Late Dinner last night. So all of us decided (err one of us) to go to downtown shah alam. Pelita Nasik Kandar. Plaza Masalam.

I will, in due time going to catalog all this pictures and keep them for our future generations to know us. It starts with the black and white and then we go digital. wish me luck. 

This will required a new camera, two class 10 SD cards (8GB), at least two16GB thumb drives, and an original photo-editor software. And most importantly, all of you keep on smiling when the camera points at you.

So if you find me pointing my camera at you just act naturally and be your self. May be that is the picture your great-grandchildren will be showing to his children in 20 years time. And so on.

 And don't get mad. It is not the camera fault you look like that. SMILE !
